First I'd like to say that if I'm under the wrong category please forgive me. I'm here in Santa Monica ,CA, and my family have been going to Bobak Morshed since 2008. He was referred to us by a friend. My wife had her wisdom teeth pulled about a month ago and it cost us $618.00 out of pocket plus insurance paid an Additional $930.00 to the Dentist on our behalf. When we received our Explanation of Benefits sheet from our Insurance company we were looking it over and it stated that the patients was to pay $163.00 for this procedure. So we called the insurance company and had them to explain exactly what this meant. They explained that all we were suppose to pay for this service was $163.00 and they didn't understand why Bobak Morshed charged us $618.00. So we called the Dentist office equipped with what our insurance company had told us. The Personal at the office tried to explain (or pull the covers over our eyes) the charges but we was not hearing any of that. Finally they did admit they over charged us but now they wont call or take our calls. Iits been almost three weeks and they have not called us or sent us the amount that they overcharged us ($455). After this incident we decided to look at past payment and sure enough the same thing happen with our other claims. The total amount owed to us at this point is $1,960. Bobak Morshed has been overcharging us like this since 2008. Please let me know what to do in this matter. Should I sue Bobak Morshed or should I continue to wait?... Read More »
